(Bedroom Makeover)

We had been living with our old bedroom for years, then finally decided to completely change it so we contacted Reed Interiors & asked if they could help us?

We really wanted.. A new bed, new sliding wardrobe doors, new carpets, a new door, wallcoverings, lighting, and decorated throughout. We also needed our fuse box electrics updated and sockets removed and added.

I recently purchased an apartment in Westbourne Dorset for myself, i realized it was quite run down and was looking quite dated having been built during the sixties. The apartment was heated using old storage heaters, and the floor had its original parquet flooring but it all needed restoration, clearing out and starting again. I wanted a perfect neutral colour scheme that wouldn’t date and a modern feel to run through the apartment.

I contacted Reed Interiors because I wanted a small to medium sized company who could take on the project completely, without me being involved with contractors or being in for deliveries etc. Vince was brilliant and produced plans with estimates from contractors, purchasing, with project management. They also arranged the removal of the old storage heaters and installed a new gas central heating stystem complete with an energy efficient boiler.

Our house was built during the sixties and really needed some updating to make it into something special. I met Vince & Martina & explained I wanted the house turned into what I call a show home, with neutral colours & a timeless contemporary feel. Vince spoke to us and gave me confidence to move ahead with the initial plans. The house ended up exceeding my expectations and was completely cleared and building works began.
